fonts-pecita software package provides OpenType hand-written font whose letters are connected, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-pecita
fonts-pecita is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-pecita package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-pecita *
You will get with fonts-pecita package name, version, architecture and description in a table
